Tues.... Saturday with some holidays.
Job SummaryAre you passionate about hospitality and making a meaningful impact every day? We’re seeking an experienced, polished Hospitality Manager with a strong front‑of‑house presence who is confident in table‑side engagement, training and developing team members, and interfacing directly with clients within our senior living community. In this role, you’ll lead a team dedicated to bringing warmth, care, and exceptional service to every meal.
You’ll play a key role in creating a vibrant, welcoming dining experience where Independent Living residents feel valued, comfortable, and connected. - Oversee daily dining operations, including meal preparation, service, and clean-up.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Maintain menus in collaboration with the culinary team, considering residents' nutritional needs and preferences.
- Assistin managing inventory needs for the dining rooms.
- Ensure the dining areas are clean andwell-maintained.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate diningservicesstaff, including chefs, cooks, servers, and dishwashers.
- Schedule staff shifts andmanagelabor costs within budget.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and provide ongoing training and development.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Manage the dining services budget,monitor expenses, and implement cost-control measures under the direction of the Food Service/Executive Chef.
- Interact with residents to obtain feedback on dining services and address any concerns or special dietary needs.
- Organize special events, themed dinners, and holiday meals to enhance resident satisfaction.
- Ensure that excellent customer service anda high levelof hospitality are provided to residents and their families.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to food service in a healthcare environment.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and innovations in senior living dining services.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Experience managing dining operations (1–2 years preferred)
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Compassionate, patient, and team-oriented approach
- Comfortable with basic computer systems (POS, scheduling, etc.)
- Ability to train and manage staff effectively
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Serv Safe® Certification and State Food Handlers Card
- Successful background check, drug screen, and health/TB tests (state-specific)
- This job involves regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and a kitchen environment with fumes, airborne particles, and moderate noise. Employees must have the physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift trays and boxes up to 25 pounds, push/pull Food Hot Boxes up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks. Occasional exposure to wet or humid conditions, extreme temperatures, and vibration may occur.
