Lunds & Byerlys Catering is currently hiring for a vibrant and outgoing part-time Catering Cook to create a sensational shopping experience for our customers! This position works a part-time schedule, with the ability to regularly work up to 39 hours/week and earns a competitive wage of $18.00-$20.00/hr.

We operate 7 days/week and are open from 6:00am-10:00pm. For this position the employee would be scheduled a range of shifts between 9:00am-5:00pm.

Our Catering Cooks are responsible for a wide variety of tasks such as:

• Preparing food for catering ordering including:
  • Chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
  • Making sauces and dressings from scratch
  • Cooking hot food using equipment like an oven, fryer, steamer, and stove top
• Assembling platters as needed and loading dishes into hot bags for the delivery team
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the work area

• Team player - steps in to assist when and where as needed
• Respectful - empathetic and appreciative of our customers and team
• Innovative - implements trending and forward-thinking retail solutions
• Hospitable - provides a friendly face and welcoming environment

• Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience:
  • Minimum of one (1) years cooking experience in catering, restaurants, or other food service
• Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to obtain Food Safety Certification
  • Communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
