Cook , Dietary, Nassau

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Full-Time Cook I to our Dietary team at Baptist Nassau. This is a Full Time opportunity working various days, including weekends, with various shift times. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in multiple areas within the kitchen and be proficient in a variety of cooking techniques and production methods. Serv Safe certification is a plus.

• Measuring, mixing, portioning and cooking according to provided recipes and production charts for Hospital at Home patients
• Performing clean, safe, and sanitary work in accordance with department policies
• Filling out all logs, production charts, cleaning schedules, etc assigned by management in accordance with department policies and procedures
• Cooling, packing, and labelling food for Hospital at Home meal delivery service

• Less than 1 year Food Service Experience Preferred
• Less than 1 year Cooking Experience Preferred

• High School Diploma (Preferred)
• Serv Safe (Preferred)

This Full Time Cook I will be located at Baptist Nassau.
