Job DescriptionJob Duties
- 1. Cooperate with the School Food Service Manager to provide a positive and inviting dining experience for students, parents, and faculty.
- 2. Be responsible for food preparation by chopping, washing, cutting, assembling, sorting, and mixing foodstuffs for cooks.
- 3. Be responsible for the serving of food during the serving periods.
- 4. Be responsible for cleaning equipment, storage, and work areas during the total work day.
- 5. Be responsible for the proper storage of food.
- 6. Be responsible for washing dishes and utensils.
- 7. Operate mechanical kitchen equipment safely.
- 8. Follow work schedules as assigned by the Food Service Manager.
- 9. Practice acceptable health and work habits.
- 10. Participate in activities that will promote the school food service program.
- 11. Participate in professional development training.
- 12. Perform other duties as assigned by the School Food Service Manager and/or Principal.
