Utility/Dishwasher-Full Time

The Hill at Whitemarsh, a five star community in Lafayette Hill, PA is seeking upbeat, friendly, service oriented individuals to work full time as utility/dishwasher. Experience a definite plus, but willing to train those with a positive attitude and a sincere desire to work with Seniors. The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Will be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and rotating holidays.
• Maintains a professional attitude and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Arrives to work on time and in proper uniform.
• Complies with all safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintains workstations and areas, keeping them clean and orderly.
• Ensures proper use of equipment and utensils and keeps them clean and well maintained.
• Rotates product correctly, so that the oldest product is used first, to minimize waste.
• Always properly wraps, labels and stores food.
• Operates dish machine; ensures all dishes are cleaned, organized, and stored appropriately
• Ensures that dishwasher is in proper working order; responsible for routine cleaning of equipment and refilling chemicals as needed.
• Tests and documents dish machine temperature and sanitize daily.
• Cleans and sanitizes kitchen and food service areas, including sweeping and mopping floors and trash removal.
• Reports any kitchen or equipment repair or maintenance needed to the Dining Services Manager.
• Participates in and attends all required in-service training and education programs as scheduled.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor on duty.
