Bartender

Our mission is to provide an experience that is unique and memorable by delivering a blend of ‘classic sports bar’ meets ‘modern bar’ as well as offering culinary creations in a setting where style and comfort co-exist.

The All American Modern Sports Grill Bartender is the ‘pulse’ of the front of house. You are on stage for every guest and team member that walks through our doors. You are responsible for keeping the pace of the shift. As a bartender, you are responsible for filling drink orders for customers either directly at the bar or through the service staff on the floor.

When measuring and pouring beverages, you must avoid spillage or over pouring. You should be personable with customers at the bar and also work well with other bartenders, service staff and the kitchen staff to ensure prompt service. In addition to mixing and serving drinks, bartenders are required to maintain stock and prepare garnishes and fresh juices daily. You are also responsible for cleaning and polishing all glassware that leaves the bar.

Bartenders must monitor customers for intoxication, determine when to deny service and, in some cases, arrange for safe transportation.

• Serve beer (draft and bottled), wine, and craft cocktails efficiently and accurately
• Maintain full knowledge of the drink menu, rotating taps, spirits, & seasonal offerings
• Monitor guest consumption and follow responsible alcohol service policies
• Promote specials, events, and in-house promotions confidently and accurately

• Communicate clearly with kitchen, servers, and support to ensure smooth service
• Open and close the bar according to daily checklists
• Keep the bar clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout the shift
• Wash and restock glassware and ensure all garnishes, ice bins, and wells replenished
• Maintain a clean and organized bar and bar area
• Coordinate with servers to fulfill drink orders for tables quickly and accurately
• Work closely with bar team and barbacks to maintain product levels and cleanliness
• Communicate any equipment issues, stock shortages, or guest concerns to management

• Must be 21+ years old (or meet the legal minimum age for alcohol service
• Previous bartending experience in a fast-paced restaurant or bar required.
• Working knowledge of beer, spirits, wine, and cocktail preparation required
• Must have a desire to learn about the world of whiskey and wine
• Basic math skills; ability to handle money accurately.
• Familiarity with POS systems (e.g., Toast, Aloha, Focus) is a plus
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, mornings or evenings as required
