Description

Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park is located on beautiful Kentucky Lake in Gilbertsville, Kentucky. This Resort Park is one of the premier lodging and dining facilities on the Lake, boasting a Marina, Campground, 18-hole Pro Golf Course, Executive Cottages, and Conference Center. The glimmering panoramic views from our 200-seat restaurant have allowed for over 50 years of guest service in a changeful hospitality industry.

We are currently looking to fill the position of Cook II in our Harbor Lights Restaurant. The ideal candidate will work within a team-centered environment to help ensure our guests receive the best product and experience our beautiful park has to offer. We serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus as well as catered events on park.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To The Following
  • Coordinates, prepares, and serves meals in a timely basis and in accordance with sanitary regulations.
  • Performs cooking duties.
  • Assists in menu development.
  • Assists with inventory and purchasing.
  • Assists the Park Chef II and Park Chef III positions as needed training and supervising kitchen personnel.

Minimum Requirements

EDUCATION: NONE

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR

SKILLS:

Two years of cooking experience in an institutional or large scale commercial setting.

Substitute EDUCATION for

EXPERIENCE:

Vocational training in food services will substitute for the experience on a year-for-year basis.
