* Summary:

** The role of the Cook is to prepare and serve hot items as instructed and in accordance with standards specified by the restaurant Chef on duty.
** Responsibilities:
*** Know, understand, and adhere to company established policies and procedures.
* Ensures guest interactions are always positive. Smiles with every guest.
* Prepare food in a quality and timely manner.
* Maintain cleanliness of stations including all reach-in boxes and kitchen in general.
* Maintain cleanliness of walk-in refrigeration and storage areas.
* Maintain rotation of food in walk-in refrigeration and storage areas.
* Set up workstation in a timely manner and in a way that maximizes efficient service.
* Prepare food served at banquets and other events.
* Provide food input related to specials.
* Assist with prep work.
* To have knowledge of all kitchen workstations.
* Performs other related duties as assigned.## Qualifications
* At least 1 year of cooking experience in a restaurant.
* Lift up to 40 lbs.
