Position Summary:

Responsible for building customer loyalties through a one-on-one consultative approach. Builds customer trust by becoming a true partner in their business. Performs menu redesign, employee training and development of promotion and merchandising programs. While contributing to controlled brand sales, customer training, advertising, promotions, food shows, brand product selection, customer events and profitability. May also be responsible for managing on-site lunch program, where applicable.

Position Responsibilities:

Maintain consistency of organization and operational standards of culinary center. Including but not limited to; sanitation, organization, ordering, product preparation and sales support.
Serve as business consultant for customers in an effort to build customer loyalty and promote sales. Provide informative and professional assistance when working with the public / customers / vendors and coworkers.
Mentor, lead and teach food concepts to others. Assist with in-house training seminars and development materials for customers. Conduct training for customers on many different topics.
Be an integrated voice with culinary team for customer menu development. Cook for customer demo visits and special customer events.
Provide consultative services that develops long-term business relationships. Interact with customers and vendors in a friendly, timely and quality manner; ensures customer and vendors' questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
Evaluate food and labor costs savings through observation.
Evaluate customer service through observations.
Increase expertise of cooking related activities and ideas.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Compensation expectation for the role is $65- $85k, plus annual bonus plan eligibility.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

3 years of food service experience

Preferred qualifications:

Bachelors:
Culinary Arts, Hotel/Restaurant Management or related area

4-6 years culinary arts, hotel restaurant and/or food service experience
