- Prepare and set up the barista/bar area for daily operations, ensuring all equipment, supplies, and products are clean, stocked, and ready for service.
- Welcome guests in a friendly, professional, and engaging manner while providing exceptional hospitality and creating a positive guest experience.
- Verify guests' ages before serving alcoholic beverages in accordance with company policies and all applicable local, state, and federal laws. Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly at all times.
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, specialty beverages, cocktails, beer, wine, and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, customizing orders to guest preferences.
- Prepare and serve menu items, baked goods, and grab-and-go offerings while maintaining quality presentation and food safety standards.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations regarding menu items, beverages, and promotions while answering guest questions in a courteous and helpful manner.
- Accurately enter food and beverage orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system and process guest payments.
- Answer telephone calls as needed to assist guests with food and beverage orders or inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
- Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked beverage stations, condiment areas, and guest service areas throughout each shift.
- Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, dishes, counters, seating areas, and workstations in accordance with company standards and health department regulations.
- Monitor and document temperatures of refrigerators, freezers, and other food and beverage equipment to ensure food safety compliance.
- Stock, receive, rotate, and inventory food, beverage, retail, and operating supplies as assigned.
- Assist with banquet and special event operations by setting up banquet rooms and beverage stations, providing food and beverage service during events, and completing banquet breakdown and cleanup following event completion.
- Support banquet operations by arranging tables, chairs, linens, service stations, and event equipment to ensure events are prepared according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and company standards.
- Work collaboratively with fellow Team Members and other hotel departments to ensure efficient operations and exceptional guest service.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, sanitation standards, and brand requirements.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with guests, management, Team Members, vendors, and the public while maintaining a positive, service-oriented attitude.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support hotel operations and guest satisfaction.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow safe food handling procedures and sanitation practices.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
- Ability to memorize and recall the faces, names, and preferences of frequent guests while maintaining a friendly, professional attitude.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Prior bartending or barista experience is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Hospitality or guest service experience is preferred but not required.
- Must successfully complete training in food preparation, food service skills, and customer service procedures.
- This is an on-site position. Regular in-person attendance at the property is an essential function of the role to support daily operations, guest service, and team member collaboration.
- Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, work schedules may vary and include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Light Work: Exert up to 40 pounds of force occasionally (up to 1/3 of the time), up to 20 pounds of force frequently (1/3 to 2/3 of the time), and a negligible amount of force constantly (more than 2/3 of the time) to move objects.
- May occasionally be required to lift more than 40 pounds.
- This position is primarily performed indoors in a fast-paced hotel food and beverage environment.
