Part-Time Bistro Server About the Position

Courtyard by Marriott Wichita at Old Town is seeking a friendly, dependable, and guest-focused Part-Time Bistro Server to join our Food & Beverage team. This position works primarily during the morning breakfast period and is responsible for providing excellent guest service, preparing and serving coffee and breakfast items, maintaining the Bistro, and assisting with food preparation and cleanliness.

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service

• Prepare and serve coffee, beverages, and breakfast items

• Assist with basic food preparation and presentation

• Set up and maintain the Bistro and breakfast service areas

• Keep food and beverage stations stocked throughout the morning

• Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards

• Clear tables, wash dishes, and maintain a clean and organized Bistro

• Operate the POS system and accurately handle guest payments

• Assist with opening and closing duties

• Respond to guest questions and requests in a professional manner

• Work closely with the Food & Beverage team and hotel staff

• Previous restaurant, hotel, food service, or customer service experience preferred

• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Reliable and dependable

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced morning environment

• Food handler certification as required by local regulations

• Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, with reasonable accommodations as needed

Part-time morning shift
. Primarily weekday and weekend breakfast hours, with flexibility based on hotel business needs. Weekend and holiday availability may be required.

$12 per hour plus tips.

Work is performed primarily in the hotel Bistro, breakfast, kitchen, and guest service areas. No regular travel is required.
