We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cook to join our team in Arlington, VA. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation, maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety, and work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and presented attractively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Adapt to menu changes and special dietary requests as needed.
- Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
