** The SHOW comes alive at MGM Resorts International
**** THE JOB:
** As an on-call Lead Barista at Excalibur, you will oversee daily café operations, maintain a welcoming environment, and deliver exceptional guest service. You will lead by example, support operational excellence, and help create memorable experiences for every guest.
** THE STARTING RATE:** $21.5806 Hourly
** THE DAY-TO-DAY:
*** Lead, coach, and train a team of approximately 3 to 12 employees during assigned shifts.
* Demonstrate knowledge of selling techniques and service standards for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as menu items.
* Resolve guest concerns within scope of authority; otherwise, escalate to management and notify a supervisor and/or Security of unusual events, incidents, missing items, or suspected theft.
* Accurately take and enter orders, and efficiently serve and garnish food and beverages as applicable.
* Prepare and complete orders according to guest preferences, including necessary condiments.
* Perform opening and closing duties based on shift assignment.
* Receive and unload warehouse deliveries; stock designated storage areas while maintaining organization, replenishing supplies, and restocking machines as needed.
* Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of front and back of house areas; clear tables and counters, sweep, and uphold the cleanliness of the dining area while ensuring guest comfort.
* Establish par levels for daily orders and complete daily order sheets.
** THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
*** High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
* 6+ months of previous coffee shop, café, or Barista experience
* Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
