** Overview
* * Prepare food of consistent quality and assist in kitchen functions.
Provide guests exceptional service in order to achieve customer satisfaction, quality service, compliance with corporate/franchise policies and procedures and federal, state and local regulations while meeting/exceeding financial goals.###
** Essential Duties and Responsibilities
*** Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
* Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player.
* Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.* .
* Provided friendly, professional guest service by taking accurate food and beverage orders, explaining menu items and specials, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
* Entered orders into POS system, verified accuracy, processed payments, and promptly delivered food and beverages with appropriate condiments.
* Prepared and cooked food according to recipes, portion standards, quality guidelines, and guest orders.
* Maintained clean, organized, and properly stocked workstations, kitchen lines, buffet areas, and service stations.
* Followed food safety procedures, including proper food temperatures, dating, labeling, storage, rotation, and waste control.
* Operated and cleaned commercial kitchen equipment, including fryers, grills, ovens, steamers, slicers, mixers, and food processors.
* Monitored inventory, prepared ingredients according to par levels, and assisted with controlling food costs and minimizing waste.
* Followed all applicable regulations and company policies regarding food safety, alcohol service, sanitation, and guest service.
* Worked effectively as part of a team, assisting coworkers and maintaining a professional and courteous manner in a fast-paced hotel environment.
* Handled and transported food trays and supplies safely while maintaining consistent service and quality standards.
* Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 30lbs. through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout shift with or without reasonable accommodation.
