AM Server

We are seeking a personable, dependable, and service-oriented AM Server to join our restaurant team. Our restaurant offers a polished, welcoming dining experience in a comfortable setting, and we are looking for someone who enjoys creating a positive experience for every guest.

The AM Server is responsible for providing attentive, friendly, and efficient breakfast and morning service while maintaining the professional standards of our restaurant.

Must be available for early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, professional service.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Provide menu information and answer guest questions regarding selections, ingredients, and preparation.
• Deliver food and beverages in a timely and polished manner.
• Anticipate guest needs and check in throughout the dining experience.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily offerings, and restaurant services.
• Set, clear, clean, and reset tables throughout the shift.
• Maintain clean and organized dining and service areas.
• Complete opening and closing side work as assigned.
• Process guest checks and payments accurately.
• Communicate effectively with culinary and restaurant team members.
• Handle guest requests and concerns professionally and courteously.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and restaurant standards.
• Assist fellow team members as needed to ensure smooth service.
• Help create a welcoming atmosphere where guests feel comfortable, cared for, and appreciated.

• Previous serving or restaurant experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Ability to remain organized and attentive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform the physical duties associated with restaurant service.

Must have basic knowledge of guest service principles, the food server function and restaurant and kitchen operations.

Must know standard cash-handling procedures.

Must be fluent in oral and written English.

Must have ability to perform multiple tasks at one time, must be able to follow verbal and written instruction, and be able to communicate both verbally and in writing.

Must be highly organized and able to pay attention to sound and sight details in crowded and noisy situations, particularly when handling multiple tasks.

Must be able to use tact and understanding when dealing with a variety of customer service problems, including stressful and highly emotional situations.

One Year of Previous experience in similar position preferred.
