Part-Time​/Seasonal

The Culinary Assistant supports the Culinary Service Manager and kitchen team by assisting with food preparation, service, and maintaining a cleaning and organized kitchen. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, learning culinary skills, and being part of a collaborative team.

• Assist with food preparation, cooking, and serving
• Help set up and break down kitchen and service areas
• Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness of kitchen and equipment
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing food and supplies
• Support events, programs, and daily kitchen operations as needed
• Work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and program leaders

• Interest or experience in food service or kitchen work
• Willingness to learn food safety and kitchen procedures
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate items

• Previous kitchen or food service experience
• Experience working with diverse groups or community programs

• Part-time or seasonal, with hours varying based on needs
