Healthy Living is seeking a passionate and experienced Prepared Foods Manager to join our Saratoga Prepared Foods Café Team!

The Prepared Foods Manager at HL is the service leader of the Prepared Foods departments and is a key operational role responsible for successful execution of product quality and production throughout our cafe, barista, cheese, bread and bakery departments. The Prepared Foods Manager sets a positive tone for the team, creating a smooth and seamless operation of the department. This role focuses on financial success, operational efficiency, hospitality, maintenance of all equipment and facilities, product taste and quality, people management, and food safety.

We're seeking individuals who bring not only strong culinary expertise and team leadership skills but also a deep commitment to delivering outstanding food and exceptional guest experiences. These are hands-on leadership roles responsible for overseeing the daily operation and production of our BOH, FOH, Bakeshop, Cheese/Bread Departments.

Hours: Full-time, requires weekend & holiday availability

Pay: $27.00-$32.00/hour (previous experience will be taken into consideration)

• At least 5 years management experience in a food service environment
• Previous culinary experience
• Previous guest service environment experience
• Knowledge of food procurement and inventory management
• Previous experience in a professional kitchen environment or equivalent
• Previous experience working with local, organic products and familiarity with standards regarding local, organic produces is preferred

• Lead and manage the BOH, Bakeshop and FOH teams, ensuring a collaborative, positive, and high-performing environment.
• Expectation of availability outside normal working hours during holiday seasons to oversee increased production.
• Train, mentor, and motivate Assistant Managers to hold staff accountable, provide feedback, deliver exceptional guest service, maintain cleanliness, and uphold food safety standards.
• Manage various aspects of the Cafe foods departments, including staffing, scheduling, training, and performance.
• Ensure high standards of food safety, sanitation, and compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with the R&D Chef on seasonal offerings, promotions, and special events.
• Lead and inspire a team to consistently deliver high-quality prepared foods and exceptional customer service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming department environment.
• Manage inventory across departments
