Being a Prep Cook at Go Bagels means building the foundation of every bagel we serve. From fresh-cut ingredients to perfectly prepared spreads and schmears, your work ensures our team can move quickly and our guests receive the quality they expect. You’ll work behind the scenes to ensure the kitchen runs efficiently, while occasionally supporting the front-of-house team to enhance the customer experience.

We’re looking for team members who are detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about supporting a smooth kitchen operation.

At Go Bagels, we craft fresh bagels daily with high-quality ingredients and genuine care, while creating welcoming spaces where communities come together—and we’re building a team of passionate people to help us grow into America’s most loved bagel brand.

• Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, mixing, and portioning according to recipes.
• Assist in cooking and assembling items following quality and presentation standards.
• Keep prep stations clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Store ingredients and prepared items correctly to maintain freshness and safety.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety procedures.
• Communicate with team members to ensure smooth production throughout the day.
• Monitor ingredient levels and notify management of shortages or supply needs.
• Restock customer-facing stations (waters, juices, parfaits, yogurts, utensils) when needed.

• Previous kitchen or food-service experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of basic prep techniques and food-handling practices.
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Reliable team player with good communication skills.
