GeJo's by the Lake is seeking an experienced and energetic General Manager to lead restaurant operations, develop team members, strengthen culture, and drive business performance.

• Oversee all day-to-day restaurant operations
• Ensure exceptional food quality, service standards, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction
• Establish and maintain operational procedures and best practices
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and profitability
• Drive accountability across all areas of the business

• Recruit, hire, train, and develop restaurant team members
• Create a positive, high-performing work environment
• Coach employees and leaders through consistent feedback and development
• Foster teamwork, accountability, and employee engagement
• Build future leaders within the organization
• Manage food costs, labor costs, inventory, and controllable expenses
• Monitor purchasing and inventory practices
• Reduce waste and improve operational efficiencies
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts
• Drive revenue growth while maintaining quality and service standards

• Ensure guests receive outstanding hospitality during every visit
• Respond to guest feedback and resolve concerns professionally
• Partner with front-of-house and kitchen leadership to enhance service execution
• Build relationships with guests, community members, and local partners

• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, liquor, and health department regulations
• Maintain inspection readiness and workplace safety standards
• Lead training efforts related to food safety and operational compliance

• 7+ years of restaurant, hospitality, or food service leadership experience
• 3+ years in a senior management or general management role
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, labor management, food cost control, and inventory management
• Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain employees
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to drive accountability and lead operational improvements
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Experience leading operational improvement or turnaround initiatives
• High-volume restaurant or hospitality experience
• Budgeting and financial management experience
• Serv Safe Certification or ability to obtain
