Restaurant Manager
The manager is to deliver prompt, courteous service in a manner that complies with Omni Food and Beverage standards and company policies and procedures and lead a team of associates to provide memorable experiences to both guests and team members.
Responsibilities:- Responsible for overseeing F&B Outlets.
- Responsible for assigned shift, assisting in overall management.
- Complete environmental checklist for dining room.
- Responsible for pool supervisors and pool associates
- Spot check liquor pars.
- Order daily supplies.
- Follow up on established training steps.
- Handle guest comments and complaints and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Stay on the floor during peak hours.
- Communicate with guests and receive feedback.
- Observe, teach and elevate staff's service.
- Monitor each guest's experience.
- Examine food preparation and beverage presentation.
- Maintain condition of dining room.
- Scheduling, completing weekly payroll, and forecasting both weekly and monthly.
- Participate in interviewing new employees as needed.
- Prepare maintenance request and follow-up.
- Monitor food and liquor requisitions and food waste.
- Check bar controls, shot glass use, red lining, and bottles totally empty daily.
- Must be familiar with and adhere to all liquor liability laws.
- Must know emergency procedures and work to prevent accidents.
- Must be highly organized.
- 3 years + in a Bar Manager role highly preferred
- Must have previous experience in a busy, fast paced working environment.
- Must have the ability to manage deadlines and support a team.
- Understanding of Food and Beverage financials including cost and par controls is required
- General knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must have a strong attention to detail as well as strong customer service skills.
- Must have understanding of beer, wine, and cocktail beverage creation knowledge.
- Must have unexpired manager Serv Safe Food Handlers and TiPS&RBS - or obtain upon hire.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift.
- Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects of moderate weight without assistance.
