Kitchen Cashier

The Kitchen Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service when making payments to ensure customers feel welcome and take specialized orders for food . They assist in packaging and labeling products , answer the phone, and maintain all the display cases full and clean. Cashiers also assist in general kitchen prep and cleaning while ensuring all products are up to standards regarding quality and freshness.

  Must be able to stand and move around during the day,liftand carry up to 30lbs
• Language:
  Ability to speak and understand English and Spanish
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, especially around holidays and weekends
• Cashieringand customer service experience preferred
• Must have a positive attitude towards customers
• Experience with using kitchen utensils forkitchen prep(Slicing, dicing, cutting, etc.)
• Basic knowledge for using POS systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on days with high customer demand and in a dynamic environment
• Responsibilityandpunctuality

• Maintaining an active Food Workers Card*
• Have a positive attitude towards safety, follow all health and safety regulations and/or policies to ensure the well-being of others and self
• Attend work with company provided uniform and have a tidy appearance
• Take payments in a precise and efficient way using a POS system
• Ensure that payments are processed correctly (either with cash or card)
• Receive customers with a bright, positive, and kind attitude
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure all client questions/concerns are answered both in person and over the phone
• Take specialfoodorders ensuring all details are correctlysubmittedwith extra caution towards dates and times for pickup
• Serving food items according to quality standards, proportions, and presentation
• Ensure all orders are correct including any special requests (such as extra vegetables, no spice, etc.) before the client receives it
• Consistently check on the freshness of all products in display cases so customers receive the best quality
• Aiding in general kitchen preparation, ensuring products are sealed and labelled correctly, and that all display cases are clean
• Refilling supplies as needed in thekitchenarea from utensils, cups, plates, etc. to sauces, etc.
• Attending to customers during their meal (for example offering napkins,salsas, extra utensils, etc.)
• Ensuring workspace and kitchen dining roomis clean throughout the day for a positive customer experience
