50,000 – 70,000 / year## About the role Immediate opening — interviewing this week. We're a chef-owned restaurant group looking for a hands-on kitchen leader to run operations at our two locations: 322 BBQ, a BBQ and catering kitchen in Mullica Hill, NJ, and Hill Donut Co. & Pancake House, a breakfast, brunch, and bakery operation in North Wilmington, DE.This is not a clipboard job and it's not a micromanaged one.

You'll run a largely autonomous kitchen with real input into the menu and the direction of both restaurants. If you've been waiting for a role where your ideas actually get used, this is it.

This is a daytime job. No late nights. We're built around breakfast, lunch, brunch, and catering, and we want someone who wants a real life outside the kitchen.

What you'll do:
• Lead kitchen operations across both locations (about a 35 to 40 minute drive apart)
• Run your kitchen with real autonomy: your systems, your standards, your team
• Contribute directly to menu development, specials, and the overall direction of the restaurants
• Hire, train, and develop prep, line, and bakery teams
• Maintain quality, consistency, and presentation standards
• Own ordering, inventory, food cost, and vendor relationships
• Uphold food safety and sanitation protocols
• Solve problems quickly and keep service running smoothly## What we’re looking for
* Kitchen leadership experience as a Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager, or similar. We care more about how you run a line and lead people than about years on a resume
* A leader who sets the tone, leads by example, and builds a team people want to work on
* Strong organization, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
* Self-motivated and reliable. You don't need someone looking over your shoulder
* Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between both stores regularly
* Brunch or breakfast experience is a bonus
* Smoker or pit experience is a bonus## What you get
