**** POSITION SUMMARY
** Bartenders are responsible for positive guest interactions while taking, filling, and serving drinks and food to guests in an efficient manner.
*
* ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

*** Greet guests and take drink and food orders from guests
* Fulfill orders accurately and in compliance with company standards, following recipes
* Adhere to company, state, county, and city guidelines when serving alcoholic beverages
* Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for alcohol purchases
* Process payments for items served using Point of Sale System (POS) and balance all receipts
* Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus and promotions
* Maintains accurate accounting of inventory at assigned sales location
* Ensure all transfers are fulfilled and without discrepancy or shortages
* Responsible for the completion of setup, as well as prep, opening and closing duties as assigned by Director, Manager and/or Designee
* Keep work area clean and organized, including storage carts and cages, coolers, and warehouse areas
* Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards
* Maintain a professional appearance
* Understand and be capable of ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed
* Performs other duties as required and/or assigned
** SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
*** There are no supervisory responsibilities assigned to this position
** QUALIFICATIONS
* ** Willingness and drive to exceed guest expectations
* Must be personable, friendly and welcoming
* Knowledge of and ability to execute drink recipes
* Must be able to create and serve drinks and food in a timely manner
* Must maintain a well-groomed appearance and good personal hygiene standards
* Subject to credit and background screening
** EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
*** High School diploma or GED required
* Experience in bartending, concessions, or catering preferred
*

*** Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Must be personable and proactive in providing guests with the highest level of customer service
* Ability to effectively listen and take direction from supervisor
* Must be able to work independently and in a team environment, interacting with multiple departments
* Ability to read, speak, and write English language
* Must be able to communicate in a clear manner with guests and teammates
* Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
