Tire and Battery Service Advisor

Position Summary

Sam's Club Tire & Battery Center Associate responsible for maintaining a safe, organized, and customer‑focused service area, working on tire and battery sales, service appointments, and the overall member experience.

• Maintain facility and sales floor safety and standards, conduct safety sweeps, handle hazardous materials, and report unsafe conditions.
• Organize, stock, zone, and merchandize the TBC floor according to company policies, including handling claims, returns, shrink, and damage.
• Stock merchandise, set up displays, clean, and price products, ensuring damaged items are removed.
• Monitor tire and battery orders daily; assist members with appointments and communicate lead‑time changes or cancellations.
• Provide expert member service, identify needs, recommend products, and resolve concerns using product knowledge and warranties.
• Drive sales and service excellence in the TBC by communicating value, collaborating with club associates, and promoting awareness of TBC offerings.
• Prioritize service workflow in TBC bays, refer to Sam’s Garage and team lead for efficient ordering and client flow.
• Apply safety and compliance protocols, industry guidelines, and TPMS knowledge.
• Leverage digital tools and handheld devices to plan sales, make real‑time decisions, and adopt new technology.
• Act as a brand advocate, model high‑quality service, develop team members and support training.
• Operate TBC equipment safely, complete vehicle service requests, and maintain documentation.
• Process member purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges following procedures.
• Collaborate with managers, teammates, and business partners to prioritize tasks, communicate progress, and drive continuous improvement.

• Valid state‑issued driver's license.
• 18 years of age or older.

• Experience in the auto service industry.
• Retail experience.
