Position Summary:
As a Senior Store Manager, you will lead and develop teams by teaching, training and actively listening to associates touring stores and providing feedback. You will communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilize technology to support business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. You will introduce and lead change efforts, provide clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions, and communicate business objectives to teams effectively.
You'll Do
Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model and managing and supporting customer service initiatives, such as community outreach programs. Resolve customer needs, complaints, and issues and develop action plans to correct deficiencies. Provide process improvement leadership to ensure a high quality customer experience. Drive financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing PL statements, managing budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses, monitoring merchandise presentation and inventory flow, and mitigating shrink.
Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management. Ensure compliance with company policies, support the Open Door Policy, and foster an environment of belonging and continuous learning. Promote a high‑performing, inclusive team culture and retain the best talent.
- Minimum 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
- For facilities that sell firearms: successful completion of a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
- For facilities that sell only ammunition with state requirements: current state issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required.
- Required to attend and complete all job‑required trainings and assessments.
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University is preferred.
- Experience supervising five or more direct reports with responsibilities of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing is preferred.

CompensationThe annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 – $. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and may include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) and Complex Structure adjustments based on external factors that create challenges.
