Meat / Produce associates are focused on keeping the Fresh area fully stocked. They also rotate product and maintain proper food safety standards. After moving incoming merchandise out to the salesfloor, they ensure Fresh displays are maintained and in proper order throughout the day.
What you’ll do- Work in deli, bakery, or dry grocery department providing customer service, assisting with cakes, and ensuring product availability.
- Clean shelves and department, maintain temperature control, verify dates, and dispose of lower quality food.
- Help customers find the products they are looking for.
- Ensure high quality products are available in produce, deli, bakery, dairy, meat, and other departments.
- Pack ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers and stock displays.
- Prepare and serve ready‑to‑eat food.
- Assist customers in ordering cakes, fulfilling deli orders, or finding the right produce.
- Keep area clean, sanitized, and customer‑ready.
