Purpose of the RoleThe Visual Trainer develops training programs and strengthens the visual merchandising capabilities of store teams while supporting the execution of the company’s visual strategies across the U.S. region. Combining training, coaching, creative problem-solving, and brand awareness, they ensure visual standards enhance the customer experience and drive sales performance. The role partners closely with Visual Presentation, Sales, Construction, and other key stakeholders to adapt visual direction to store needs, support seasonal initiatives, lead store openings and renovations, develop talent, identify opportunities, and leverage sales trends to optimize visual execution and business results.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver visual presentation training materials, workshops, videos and other learning tools in collaboration with the Visual Presentation team.
- Adapt in-store planograms to create an optimal shopping experience and thus increase profitability;
- Collaborate with the visual presentation, sales and construction teams, participate in the development of planograms of new stores in anticipation of their openings;
- Lead store openings by providing necessary training to sales teams;
- Train and coach Store Managers, and Sales teams on visual standards, merchandising principles, planogram execution and company visual strategies.
- Provide ongoing in store and virtual support, offering clear direction, constructive feedback and practical solutions that build confidence and autonomy within store teams.
- Ensure good communication between the stores and the visual presentation department;
- Maintain consistency across stores by ensuring that the brand image is well respected;
- Provide constructive feedback and identify store needs to improve the visual presentation department's processes, training, and procedures.
