Cashier

The Cashier handles transactions with customers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring accurate cash handling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions.
• Process credit and debit card payments.
• Provide receipts and correct change to customers.
• Maintain a clean and orderly checkout area.
• Assist with customer inquiries and complaints.

Individual must possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money accurately. Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for a period of up to 4 hours. Candidate must be able to interact with customers while providing good customer service in a fast-paced environment. Ensure an accurate accounting of all transactions, collections and disbursements. Receives cash drawer at beginning of shift and counts money in drawer at beginning and end of shift to verify its accuracy as well as carry out tasks and responsibilities as designated by management such as FSS duties.

Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pound, bend, stoop, grasp, overhead reaching walk and stand up to 4 hours. Must be able to pass the Anti-robbery training course-you will be told when to attend the class-this is a mandatory course
