Deli Manager

Deli Managers are directly responsible for daily operations of Deli department’s profitability, presentation, sanitation, and training future deli managers

• Display outstanding customer service skills by greeting customers, and providing friendly, courteous service at all times. Display this same courtesy to co-workers as well. Be professional in appearance and demeanor.
• Order and maintain all product sold through the deli department.
• Maintain budget, inventory control, orders, processing, packaging, labeling, acceptable retail stock level, sanitation, and plan‑ograms set by Brookshire Brothers.
• Schedule and supervise employees assigned to the deli department to insure total customer satisfaction.
• Follow all training programs and makes sure all employees in deli department are sufficiently trained.
• Be willing and able to work additional shifts other than what is posted on weekly schedule.
• Be willing and able to perform other duties as assigned such as general cleaning, custodial duties, and other activities as directed by management.

Must have one year of bakery or deli experience unless approved by the District Director. Must have good verbal and written skills. Must be able to calculate gross profits, inventories, and salary projections. Proficiency in Microsoft Office required. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. All other physical requirements will be discussed during the interview process.
