Our commercial sales team is expanding, and we seek an acquisition account executive with an entrepreneurial mindset that can work in a competitive, high velocity environment.

Your role will involve prospecting, developing, and closing business in a timely manner while focusing on solving the prospect's business pain points and key challenges and delivering on agreed-upon business value-driven use cases.

This role is a unique opportunity to enable our customers to deliver high-visibility, high-impact projects that impact organisational growth and strategic business value. You will be successful in this role if you can act with autonomy, take accountability, and be open to new perspectives and ideas. Our team has a deep curiosity to learn and is always looking for innovative ways to meet and exceed our customers' needs.

AS AN ACQUISITION COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE AT SNOWFLAKE YOU WILL:
  • Understand Snowflake’s product and ecosystem, conduct discovery calls, facilitate customised demos and presentations to prospective customers.
  • Be a multi-threaded, trusted advisor to the customer by understanding their existing and future Business and IT roadmap to drive the Snowflake adoption within their organisation.
  • Work intimately with Snowflake partners and service providers to deliver value to net new customers and accelerate customer value realisation.
  • Qualify prospects and the development of new sales opportunities and ongoing revenue streams.
  • Land, adopt, expand, and deepen sales opportunities with accounts in your region.
  • Achieve sales quotas for allocated accounts and/or territory on a quarterly and annual basis by developing a sales strategy in the assigned territory with a target prospect list and comprehensive territory plan.

ON DAY ONE, WE WILL EXPECT YOU TO HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

  • 2+ years of sales or sales development experience with consistent success in meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Familiarity with a solution-based approach to selling, experience managing a complex sales process, excellent presentation and listening skills, and organisation and contact management capabilities.
  • Deep understanding of Snowflake’s value proposition and go to market sales motion.
On Day One We Will Expect You to Have:
  • 1+ years of full-cycle sales experience or equivalent B2B sales experience (SaaS or cloud technology preferred)
  • Proven ability to independently manage and develop client relationships within the Australian market
  • Ability to drive consistent activity, pipeline development, and quota achievement
  • Experience determining customer requirements and presenting appropriate solutions
  • Proactive, independent thinking and a high-energy, positive attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Bonus points for:
  • Experience with consumption-based or usage-based revenue models
  • Familiarity with the modern data and AI stack (cloud data platforms, AI/ML, analytics)
  • Existing relationships within Melbourne's enterprise technology community
  • Understanding of Australian data governance and compliance landscape
