THE ROLE

We are looking for a Business Development Executive to drive our category and commercial strategies in line with our overall business objectives. In this role, you will analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive dynamics to optimize product assortment, pricing, and trade promotion activities. You will act as a key link between Marketing and Sales, ensuring effective execution of in-store initiatives, merchandising excellence, and strong field performance.

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in accelerating category growth, improving profitability, and enhancing customer experience through data-driven insights and seamless cross‑functional collaboration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Execute category strategies aligned with overall business goals
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities
  • Manage product assortment, pricing, and promotion strategies
  • Drive category growth, profitability, and market share
  • Monitor sales performance and key KPIs (e.g., net revenue, volume tracking)
  • Direct and supervise field teams activities and in‑store implementations
  • Provide clear guidance and task allocation to the field team and monitor field execution performance
  • Optimize shelf placement and merchandising strategies (in‑store & online)
  • Manage the design, production, and placement of Point‑of‑Sale Materials (POSM) and ensure high standards of visibility and shelf management (merchandising).
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and category expansion
  • Conduct regular business reviews and reporting
  • Improve customer experience through assortment and availability optimization
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to assess trade plan effectiveness and ROI.
  • Coordinate with distributors and retail partners to ensure smooth implementation of trade initiatives.
  • Assist in planning and tracking trade marketing budgets to maximize cost‑effectiveness.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in business development, trade marketing, or category management
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, market trends, and KPIs
  • Proven experience in managing trade promotions, in‑store activations, and merchandising strategies
  • Solid understanding of pricing, product assortment, and category growth dynamics
  • Experience working cross‑functionally with Sales, Marketing, and field teams
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
