What you’ll be doing

As a full‑time Verizon Retail Sales Associate, you will:

• Generate retail sales by using your passion for cutting‑edge technology and exceptional customer service to expand the Verizon network.
• Learn and uncover customers’ needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete, top‑down sales solution.
• Close sales by using outstanding communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions.
• Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up‑skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory.
• Potentially grow your customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers interested in our products and services.
• Engage with the community outside the store to expand your loyal customer base, including at off‑site Verizon‑sponsored events.

Base pay ranges from $16.00 to $21.00 per hour. In addition, you can earn up to $18,000 a year in individual‑based commissions if you hit all sales goals. Top performers may earn an extra $14,500 or more in commissions, bringing total potential earnings to $65,000–$75,500+ annually. Compensation varies by geography, hours worked, and performance.

• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work or military experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedules released four weeks in advance).
• Openness to pick up additional shifts and earn more income, typically during peak periods such as summer, November–December, and peak vacation times.

• Experience working in a commission‑based environment.
• Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions.
• Customer service experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Full‑time, 40 hours per week. The role is onsite at a defined location.
