Inside Sales, Sales Representative, Sales Development Rep/SDR
The Macomb Group, a leading distributor in the Midwest for pipe, valve, and fittings, is seeking a full-time inside sales representative with mechanical and industrial piping experience to prepare quotations and handle inside and counter sales at our Carrollton, KY location. We differentiate ourselves by expanding operations to provide specialty services, a huge inventory, energy-efficient solutions, and exceptional customer service. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, self-driven individual to join our growing team.
Responsibilities- Answer phones and take orders from customers over the phone
- Provide status updates on previous orders
- Prepare quotations and bids
- Purchase non-stock items and backorders
- Coordinate sales orders
- Provide professional customer service to customers
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One or two years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of both is preferred
- Demonstrate trade experience and knowledge of mechanical and industrial piping applications
- Able to project professionalism in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills
- Motivated team player who takes initiative
Monday - Friday, day shift
