Whiteface Customs is hiring a Work Truck Expert to help ranchers, farmers, fleet operators, and commercial customers build trucks around the work they actually do.
This is not a generic car-sales position. Our customers need someone who understands the ag world, can talk comfortably about equipment and work-truck use, and knows how to ask good questions before recommending a setup. You do not need to know every product on day one, but you do need the practical background and curiosity to learn quickly.
Whiteface Customs is a growing truck-upfit shop in Hereford, Texas. We sell and install flatbeds, hay beds, service bodies, hitches, towing equipment, fuel systems, lighting, suspension, wheels, tires, and other accessories. Customers travel from across Texas and beyond because they want useful advice, a well-planned build, and a team that follows through.
WHAT YOU WILL DO- Talk with ranch, farm, fleet, and commercial customers about how they use their trucks.
- Ask the right questions about hauling, towing, payload, equipment, storage, and job-site needs.
- Recommend and sell truck beds, bodies, towing equipment, lighting, suspension, wheels, tires, and accessories.
- Build clear, accurate quotes and explain options without overselling.
- Follow up with leads and customers from the first conversation through the completed build.
- Coordinate with the shop, vendors, and sales team on product availability, pricing, installation, and timing.
- Learn new products and stay current on fitment, capabilities, and real-world use.
- Keep customer notes, quotes, and follow-up activity organized.
- Build long-term relationships that lead to repeat business and referrals.
- Real experience in agriculture, ranching, farming, ag equipment, commercial trucks, or a closely related field.
- The ability to sell, explain, recommend, and earn customer trust.
- Comfort talking with working customers who know their equipment and expect practical answers.
- Mechanical curiosity and willingness to learn truck beds, bodies, towing, electrical accessories, suspension, and fitment.
- Strong follow-through, organization, and communication.
- Equipment, parts, outside, account, fleet, or consultative sales experience is strongly preferred.
- A valid driver license and an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
Generic automotive sales or dealership management by itself is not the profile for this role. The strongest candidates understand ag customers first and can turn that knowledge into honest, consultative sales.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS- Expected annual compensation: 60,000 to 85,000 dollars, based on experience and performance.
- Health insurance.
- Dental and vision insurance available.
- Paid time off.
- Employer-matched 401(k).
- Product training and room to grow with a fast-expanding specialty truck business.
This is a hands-on sales environment connected directly to the shop. You will see the trucks being built, learn from people who install and use the products, and help customers solve real problems. Decisions happen quickly, the work is visible, and good follow-through matters. If you know the ag world, enjoy work trucks, and like helping people choose the right equipment, this is a place where that background is valuable.
