The Business Development Executive – Manufacturing & Distribution (M&D) is a senior, market-facing executive responsible for driving revenue growth through new business origination, executive relationship development, and market expansion. The role is focused on creating new client opportunities, developing C-suite relationships, and increasing Eisner Amper's presence within the Manufacturing & Distribution marketplace. Working closely with the Head of Manufacturing & Distribution, the Business Development Executive will help execute the industry's go-to-market strategy and drive growth among the firm's highest-priority targets.

This is a national role and may be based in any U.S. market, subject to the discretion of Manufacturing & Distribution leadership and the concentration of industry opportunities within the candidate's geography.

This role is intended for a seasoned M&D business development executive with strong industry credibility, a robust network of industry relationships, and the ability to engage confidently with CFOs, CEOs, COOs, CIOs, owners, private equity sponsors, and other senior decision-makers across the manufacturing and distribution ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Originate new business opportunities within the Manufacturing & Distribution sector, with primary responsibility for generating new client relationships and expanding Eisner Amper's presence in the market.

  • Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with CFOs, CEOs, COOs, CIOs, owners, private equity sponsors, and other key decision-makers across the manufacturing and distribution ecosystem.

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue high-value opportunities aligned with the firm's strategic growth priorities.

  • Lead complex, multi-service pursuits from initial engagement through successful close, partnering with subject matter specialists across the firm.

  • Build and leverage relationships with referral sources, strategic alliance partners, industry associations, and other centers of influence.

  • Develop and execute targeted business development plans focused on priority industry segments and strategic growth opportunities.

  • Achieve annual business development objectives aligned with national Manufacturing & Distribution growth priorities.

  • Serve as a visible representative of Eisner Amper within the Manufacturing & Distribution marketplace, building relationships with senior executives, industry influencers, referral sources, and strategic alliance partners.

  • Create and advance new business opportunities through executive networking, industry conferences, trade associations, market outreach, and targeted business development activities.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with CFOs, CEOs, COOs, CIOs, owners, private equity sponsors, and other key decision-makers across the Manufacturing & Distribution ecosystem.

  • Identify emerging industry trends, market opportunities, and competitive developments to help inform growth strategies and business development priorities.

  • Partner closely with the Head of Manufacturing & Distribution to support go-to-market priorities, strategic growth initiatives, and targeted market campaigns.

  • Collaborate with partners and service line leaders to bring the firm's full capabilities to prospective client opportunities.

  • Lead client meetings, business development presentations, pricing discussions, and pursuit activities through successful close.

  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM documentation.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of senior-level business development, commercial, or advisory experience within Manufacturing & Distribution.

  • Brings a deep and active network across manufacturers, distributors, private equity sponsors, operators, and professional advisors.

  • Demonstrated track record of originating and closing complex, multi-service engagements and generating significant new business revenue.

  • Possesses strong executive presence and credibility with CFOs, CEOs, COOs, CIOs, owners, and senior operating leadership.

  • Demonstrates a hunter mentality with a passion for developing new relationships, creating opportunities, and winning new business.

  • Is highly entrepreneurial, relationship-oriented, and results-driven.

  • Demonstrates strong business development discipline, strategic thinking, and opportunity management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior Manufacturing & Distribution business development experience at a national accounting, consulting, or professional services firm is strongly preferred.
