The New Business Development Manager will be focused on identifying, developing, and expanding relationships with new clients and sectors within the transportation and logistics industry. Leveraging Midwest Logistics Systems' robust capabilities in freight solutions, the ideal candidate will drive growth by identifying potential new markets and facilitating strategic partnerships that align with our goals of scalability and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through networking, industry events, and direct outreach.
- Develop and execute strategies for entering new markets and sectors within the logistics arena.
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to create tailored propositions for potential clients.
- Conduct market analysis to inform strategic decisions and maintain competitiveness in the industry.
- Negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms and long-lasting business relationships.
- Liaise with project and account management teams to ensure successful onboarding of new clients and the smooth initiation of services.
- Prepare and present reports on progress towards business growth goals to senior management.
