We are seeking a Design Consultant to join our growing team. This role works directly with homeowners to guide project design decisions, develop project proposals, and help bring remodeling ideas to life.
Key Responsibilities- Meet with homeowners to understand project goals and requirements
- Develop project concepts and preliminary design ideas
- Assist clients with selecting siding, windows, and exterior materials
- Prepare project estimates and proposals
- Coordinate project details with the project management team
- Order materials and ensure project specifications are met
- Maintain communication with clients throughout the sales process
- Conduct final walkthroughs to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and products
- Proven experience in remodeling sales, home improvement sales, or design consulting
- Strong relationship-building and referral development skills
- Customer service and sales experience
- Ability to guide homeowners through design decisions
- Strong attention to detail and project organization
- Professional communication and presentation skills
- 1+ year of related experience in remodeling, construction sales, or design consulting
- Strong visual design sense and attention to aesthetics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic understanding of residential building codes
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office and Google Workspace)
- Pay: $60,000 - $70,000 per year, based on experience
