We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sales & Wedding Group Coordinator to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind cultivating client relationships, coordinating wedding and event groups, and ensuring seamless execution of all sales and event activities. Your energetic approach will help maximize revenue opportunities while delivering exceptional guest experiences. Duties
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and current clients to promote wedding and group event bookings.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from initial inquiry through contract negotiation, upselling additional services, and finalizing bookings.
- Coordinate with clients to plan event details, including menu selections, room arrangements, technical requirements, and special requests.
- Oversee the management of event budgets, ensuring profitability while delivering high-quality guest experiences.
- Utilize event management software and PMS systems to track client interactions, reservations, and follow-up activities efficiently.
- Collaborate with the culinary, banquet, and hospitality teams to ensure all event specifications are met flawlessly.
- Lead team efforts in marketing events through targeted campaigns, social media promotion, and community outreach initiatives.
- Ensure all contracts are accurately prepared, signed, and stored securely; manage guest communication throughout the planning process.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and resolving any issues proactively.
- Manage multiple events simultaneously while maintaining organizational excellence and time management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales or event coordination within the hospitality or events management industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with a focus on upselling opportunities to maximize revenue.
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written to effectively liaise with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management software and CRM systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, contracts, and project timelines efficiently.
