About the OpportunityLMG Staffing Solutions is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a fast-growing, fully remote marketing agency that helps funded B2B SaaS and technology companies win visibility in traditional and AI-powered search. The company has nearly doubled revenue over the past year and is building its first-ever sales development function to keep pace with a growing stream of inbound demand. This is a newly created role reporting directly to the Founder, sitting outside the delivery-focused teams (content, strategy, and link building).
PositionSummary
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be the first point of contact for a steady stream of inbound, outbound (ABM), and reactivation leads, and will play a key role in building the company’s outbound systems from the ground up. This is not a generic dialer role — the ideal candidate has real experience selling into B2B SaaS or funded tech startups, can hold a credible first conversation with senior marketing and growth buyers, and is motivated to grow into a more senior sales role as the function scales.
The role starts part-time (~20 hours/week), with a 90-day review for a move to full-time based on performance and lead volume.
Key Responsibilities Lead Response & Qualification
- Respond same-day, ideally within the hour, to every inbound, outbound (ABM), and reactivation handoff — across email, Linked In, and phone/text
- Qualify every lead against ICP criteria, protecting the founder’s calendar from below-budget or bad-fit prospects
- Book qualified discovery calls — turning a reply into a booked next step is the core measure of the role
- Run second-channel follow-up (call, text, Linked In) wherever email goes quiet on handoffs from inbound and ABM
- Self-source prospecting against the company’s ICP during downtime between handoffs — Linked In outreach and targeted email to build pipeline beyond inbound and ABM
- Support the development and execution of high-value, niche outbound campaigns (e.g., targeted email and direct mail to a curated list of key accounts) in partnership with the founder
- Keep the CRM clean and current — every touch, stage move, and next action logged as you go
- Help select, configure, and maintain outreach tooling as the company builds out its sales stack; the team is open to your recommendations on platforms
- Shadow the founder’s calls and playbook early on, then operate independently as you prove it out
- Build toward a more senior sales role as the function and lead volume scale
- B2B SaaS or sales-development experience, ideally selling to funded tech startups — prioritized over specific SEO or digital-marketing expertise
- Able to hold a credible first conversation with marketing, growth, or founder-level buyers
- Exposure to the SEO/AEO or digital-marketing space is a plus, but not required
- Organized and responsive across multiple channels — phone, Linked In, email, and CRM
- Coachable and fast-learning, comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy in a lean, remote-first environment
- Based in the United States;
Eastern or Central time zone preferred to support overlap with a globally distributed team and West Coast clients (soft preference)
- Multi-Channel Outbound Prospecting
- Lead Qualification (ICP-Based)
- B2B SaaS / Tech Startup Sales Experience
- Sales Outreach Tool Selection & Setup (e.g., Apollo or similar)
- Cold Email & Direct Mail Campaign Development
- Response speed (non-negotiable): same-day,…
