We are seeking a motivated, early-career sales professional to join our team as an Associate Account Executive. This is a full-cycle sales role designed for individuals looking to grow into a consultative technology sales career. You'll build relationships, support opportunity development, and learn how to sell complex IT professional services, all with hands‑on coaching and mentorship from experienced sellers. The ideal candidate is curious about technology and consulting, coachable, and ready to build the foundational skills of a long‑term sales career.
Key Responsibilities:- Support partner-associated sales efforts and joint account planning.
- Conduct prospect research and assist with discovery preparation and follow‑up.
- Learn to identify client needs and align them with Improving's services.
- Manage and maintain sales pipeline activity.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and solution discussions.
- Build foundational skills in pricing, proposals, and commercial conversations.
- Collaborate closely with delivery, recruiting, and partner teams.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in sales, business development, recruiting, customer success, or a related client‑facing role.
- Strong interest in technology, consulting, or professional services sales.
- Curious, coachable, and motivated to learn and grow.
- Comfortable communicating with internal teams and external partners.
- Organized, detail‑oriented, and strong in follow‑through.
- Must be based in Houston and willing to work a hybrid schedule.
