We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and results-driven New Car Sales Manager to join our Hyundai dealership team. The ideal candidate is a proven automotive sales leader who can motivate a sales team, maximize showroom opportunities, maintain strong customer satisfaction, and consistently achieve sales and profitability objectives.
Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and motivate the New Car Sales team to achieve and exceed monthly sales and gross-profit objectives.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize new vehicle sales and market share.
- Work closely with the General Sales Manager and dealership leadership to establish and achieve monthly goals.
- Monitor individual and team performance, providing ongoing coaching, training, and accountability.
- Assist sales consultants with negotiations, deal structuring, and closing opportunities.
- Maintain strong knowledge of Hyundai products, programs, incentives, and current market conditions.
- Manage inventory effectively and work with management to maintain appropriate vehicle mix and pricing strategies.
- Ensure all sales processes, paperwork, and dealership policies are followed accurately and consistently.
- Monitor CSI/customer satisfaction and take proactive steps to resolve customer concerns.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers while helping the team deliver an exceptional purchase experience.
- Review daily and monthly sales performance reports and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Recruit, train, develop, and retain high-performing sales professionals when needed.
- Uphold the dealership's standards for professionalism, integrity, compliance, and customer service.
- Proven track record of achieving sales and gross-profit objectives.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to coach and develop sales professionals while holding the team accountable.
- Strong understanding of automotive dealership sales processes and CRM systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
- Professional appearance and excellent customer-service skills.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
