Poultry Regional Sales Manager

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing sales activities to achieve the business goals and sales objectives of the organization in the south-central region of the U.S. This position reports to and works closely with our Global Sales Director to develop and implement sales plans and programs.

The successful candidate will lead our sales efforts in growing core business and developing new product/market opportunities. Specific responsibilities include:

• Grow sales in the territory by calling on poultry and greenhouse equipment distributors to:
• Persuade decision makers to buy and promote LB White and R-Supply products
• Educate distributors/dealers on LB White and R-Supply products and capabilities
• Develop strong business relationships in the sales territory in order to promote product awareness and positively influence heating and ventilation specifications, preferences, and purchasing decisions with key integrator personnel and growers
• Assist dealers and LB White’s technical support department in performing basic product troubleshooting
• Act as a conduit of information between the field and our offices:
• Take an active role in our forecasting process
• Provide competitive information on an as-needed basis
• Proactively identify and communicate market trends and customer needs

The Regional Sales Manager position requires weekly travel, ranging from one to four overnights per week, and occasionally weekends. In our south-central region most travel is by vehicle, and we provide a truck for this purpose. We provide a smart phone and laptop computer, as well. All approved travel, meals and entertainment expenses are paid for by the company.

Location:

MS, AR, Eastern TX

• A minimum of five years of successful sales experience
• Experience selling equipment or other engineered products in the Poultry industry
• Experience selling animal confinement equipment is a plus
• Demonstrated sales closing ability
• Strong and well developed relationships within the Poultry industry
• Demonstrated record of success in selling through a distributor/dealer network
• Highly developed sales skills and personal attributes including persuasiveness, planning/organizing, reliability and integrity.
• Highly proficient oral and written communication skills.
• Four-year college degree preferred but not required
• Proven mechanical aptitude and technical capability
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Must be able to lift and move objects of up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis
• Strong desire to have a career with a winning team
