The RoleSpotguide is hiring a Growth & Partnerships Manager to launch and grow our presence throughout San Francisco. This is a hands‑on, field‑based position responsible for the entire acquisition process—from identifying prospects and generating leads to conducting outreach, closing sign‑ups, onboarding partners, and developing lasting relationships. You will grow all three sides of the Spotguide platform: consumers, creators, and restaurant partners. The ideal candidate is outgoing, resourceful, comfortable starting conversations in person, and excited about restaurants, social media, creators, and early‑stage startups.
WhatYou’ll Do
Grow Spotguide’s User Community
- Introduce consumers to Spotguide at restaurants, events, neighborhoods, campuses, and other high‑traffic locations.
- Show people how to send Instagram and Tik Tok restaurant content to Spotguide.
- Develop local campaigns that convert new sign‑ups into active users.
- Build relationships with communities and organizations that can drive recurring adoption.
- Gather user feedback and identify opportunities to improve activation and daily engagement.
- Track sign‑ups, activation, referral activity, and ongoing usage.
- Identify and contact San Francisco food, lifestyle, and local creators.
- Explain how Spotguide helps creators measure the value they generate for restaurants.
- Recruit creators into Spotguide’s referral and restaurant partnership programs.
- Help creators understand how they can earn commissions from the restaurant activity generated by their audiences.
- Develop relationships with creators and encourage them to consistently incorporate Spotguide into their content.
- Coordinate creator introductions and campaigns with participating restaurants.
- Prospect restaurants that already work with influencers or have budgets for creator marketing.
- Conduct in‑person restaurant outreach throughout San Francisco.
- Meet with owners, operators, general managers, and marketing leaders.
- Explain how Spotguide helps restaurants attract creators and measure influencer‑driven results and ROI.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, outreach, demonstrations, follow‑up, closing, and onboarding.
- Help restaurants establish creator offers, including complimentary meals and paid collaborations.
- Maintain strong relationships with participating Spots and support their continued success on the platform.
- Consistently generating qualified user, creator, and restaurant leads.
- Converting prospects into registered and active Spotguide participants.
- Building a strong network within San Francisco’s restaurant and creator communities.
