Acadian Food service is an Authorized Local Purveyor of the Boar’s Head Brand in southern Louisiana. We take pride in our commitment to delivering exceptional products and services to our clients. As part of our dedication to excellence, we are seeking a dynamic and talented Account Manager to join our team.

As an Account Manager at Acadian Food service, you will be responsible for developing and guiding the implementation of specific business plans, achieving sales and distribution targets and for serving as the primary contact for a specific list of retail chain stores, independent supermarkets, meat markets, hospitals, restaurants, schools, etc. Account Managers play a key role in developing new customer relationships while maintaining service levels with existing customer base and is responsible for in-store activities for our customers.

We are looking for individuals with a passion for providing excellent customer service and excel working both independently and as a member of a team.

This role requires a flexible schedule with a 5am start time and a Sunday-Thursday week.

• Brand Sales
  - Complete bi-weekly customer inventory
• Create bi-weekly orders based on established inventory levels
• Check product freshness, sell-by dates, complete 10 Day List forms, and engage management on shrink reducing solutions
• Pull expired product, create out of date memos, and issue customer credits
• Complete merchandising resets and recommend opportunities for cross merchandising
• Responsible for keeping accurate and current signage in all locations
• Knowledge of sales trends in each store
• Brand Coach
  - Complete 1-on-1 training with customers' employees including exceptional customer service, product knowledge, product pairings, slicing technique, sanitation, etc.
• Certifying each trained employee
• Complete assigned training missions
• Meal solutions training (sandwich, salads, wraps, center of the plate, etc)
• Brand Advisor
  - Continuously cultivate relationships with customers by actively engaging with deli management and personnel to understand their customer base, evolving product or training needs, and specific opportunities/challenges
• Responsible for validating each location to the program
• Brand Concierge
  - Build awareness of our premium delicatessen products by engaging consumers through product sampling
• General
  - Complete additional activities or special projects as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent; including basic math and reasoning
• Ability to speak and read English
• 1+ years of experience as Account Manager or 3 years' experience in a customer service, sales, warehouse or similar role
• Successful mastery of Account Manager essential functions and requirements
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Basic computer skills
• Must have a reliable vehicle

• Ability to stand for minimum of 4 hours
• Ability to bend, twist, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl
• Ability to life or carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs; push or pull objects up to 600 lbs
