** Territory Sales Representative - Nursing Care Products
** role is a position within Cardinal Health’s Acute Care Sales organization. The individual is responsible for meeting and exceeding sales goals by advancing the Nursing Care product portfolio by utilizing solution-based concept selling skills into the U.S. Acute Care Hospital marketplace within the geography of their assigned territory.  The Nursing Care products portfolio is composed of numerous clinical and commoditized medical products utilized for patient care and clinician protection.

The portfolio includes categories such as gloves, personal protective equipment, skin & wound care, women & baby, patient care, localized temperature therapy.

** Responsibilities:*
* * Utilize selling strategies and technologies to exceed business expectations for assigned territory by creating and executing actionable SMART Territory Sales Plans to create, manage and close nursing care opportunities.
* Master features, benefits and value of assigned product portfolio and presents these to clinical and economic call points utilizing situational sales methodology.
* Presents proposals, negotiates pricing and effectively differentiates Cardinal Health’s nursing care product offerings.
* Collaborate with supply chain sales representatives and strategic accounts team to drive incremental revenue and achieve sales targets within the context of overall account strategy.
* Builds consultative relationships with clinicians, supply chain partners and end users while maintaining positive working relationships with Distribution and GPO partners. Maintains active presence at top accounts.
* In-service accounts by demonstrating product applications, functionality and use both in-person and remote through web-based technologies.
* Maintains knowledge of the current industry/competitive landscape including GPO’s, healthcare economics, reimbursements, competitors and competitive products.
* Responsible for inventory management of product portfolio within assigned territory distribution center. Effectively reviews, manages, and adjusts product allocations across portfolio to sustain sales in all assigned accounts.
* Utilize and update sales tools to accurately address trends in existing base of business, create call strategies, and to manage territory and strategic business plans.
* Complete all administrative requirements in a timely and comprehensive manner (expenses, compliance, , as directed).
* Meet and maintain the requirements of all key vendor credentialing entities.
* Attend and participate in sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and trade shows as directed; overnight travel required, up to 1 week at a time  
** QUALIFICATIONS**:
* Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
* Previous experience in a sales function preferred (B2B or Inside Sales)
* Proven track record of success in sales achievement with experience in multilevel account management
* Strong computer acumen and business application
* Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
