Sales Support Representative

Seaman Paper is a global manufacturer of specialty paper and sustainable packaging solutions. Family-owned and headquartered in Leominster, Massachusetts, the company has been operating since 1946 and serves customers across North America, Europe, and Asia.

We are looking for a Sales Support Representative to join our team in Correggio, Italy
. This role provides day-to-day support to our Sales Managers and customers, helping coordinate quotations, orders, samples, customer requests, and international sales activities.

The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, comfortable working across different teams and countries, and able to communicate confidently in multiple languages.

• Provide administrative and commercial support to Sales Managers, including quotations, samples, orders, and customer requests.
• Act as a point of contact between Sales, Customer Service, Estimating, Operations, and other internal teams.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, services, orders, availability, and delivery status.
• Support international sales programs by coordinating communication, inventory planning, and implementation across Seaman Paper production locations.
• Maintain regular communication with selected existing customers in support of the Sales Manager.
• Manage inbound leads from retail and European markets received through the company website and other sources.
• Qualify and route new leads to the appropriate Sales Manager, distributor, or internal team.
• Research prospective customers using online resources and business intelligence tools.
• Prepare and follow up on customer quotations.
• Process customer orders and coordinate delivery information with the appropriate internal teams.
• Maintain accurate customer, prospect, and activity information in Salesforce.
• Support prospecting and customer development activities.
• Participate in sales and team meetings and contribute ideas to improve customer service and internal processes.
• Work closely with colleagues across different departments and international locations to ensure a positive customer experience.

• 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, sales support, customer service, or a similar commercial role.
• Experience in manufacturing, packaging, paper, retail, or a related industry is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple activities at the same time.
• A proactive approach to solving customer and operational issues.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues and customers.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Because this role supports customers and colleagues across multiple international markets,
language skills are an important part of the position
.

Fluency in Italian and English is required
.

Additional proficiency in German, French, or Spanish is highly valued.

Candidates who can communicate confidently with customers and colleagues across different European markets will be particularly well suited to the role.

Experience with
Salesforce or another CRM system is preferred. The ability to maintain accurate customer and sales information and use CRM data to support commercial activities is important.
