** Summary
* * The Associate Director of Sales is responsible for driving revenue, developing strategic accounts, and growing group and leisure business for the property.
This position works closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing to develop and execute sales strategies that maximize occupancy, ADR, group revenue, meeting and event revenue, and overall profitability. The Associate Director of Sales will maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively identifying and developing new business opportunities.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated hospitality sales professional who combines strong business-development skills with exceptional relationship management, leadership, organization, and follow-through. This individual should be comfortable representing two coastal properties, cultivating high-value accounts, soliciting new business, and collaborating across departments to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Salary Range: $100k-$125k plus sales incentive#

* ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

*** Sales & Business Development
** Develop and execute proactive sales strategies to achieve and exceed annual room, group, catering, and overall revenue goals.
* Identify, prospect, and develop new accounts and market segments that align with the hotel's business objectives.
* Maintain and grow relationships with key corporate, association, university, government, entertainment, travel industry, and leisure accounts.
* Conduct regular sales calls, client appointments, presentations, site inspections, networking activities, and industry events.
* Develop qualified sales leads through prospecting, referrals, networking, partnerships, and market research.
* Actively solicit group, corporate, meeting, conference, and special-event business.
* Maintain a strong presence in the San Diego and Southern California hospitality and business communities.
