This position is responsible for the management, development, coordination, and implementation of sales strategies and tactics to penetrate the light-duty independent automotive aftermarket in order to grow sales from new and existing business. The incumbent will be expected to utilize sales experience and/or educational background to work within a team environment to research and create targeted sales strategies, customer support, pricing, promotions and various pieces of marketing collateral.
The position will also be required to have thorough knowledge of new and existing products and pricing strategies. This position will contribute to the company’s profitability by monitoring and managing associated effort, cost, and quality from strategic sales programs.
- Manage customer relationships, sales presentations, proposals, and aftermarket support for existing and prospective accounts.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, distributors, and external agencies to drive market growth, customer engagement, and sales performance.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer requirements, and inventory levels, providing insights and recommendations to management.
- Associate’s/bachelor’s degree in Business or related fields, or 5+ years of Sales experience
- 1-3 years within a Sales role (Auto/Ind Aftermarket products preferred)
- Experience utilizing a CRM program
- Strong knowledge of the Performance market segment, including suppliers, customers, and products
- Proven Sales record and ability to develop new business, identify and sell to customer based on their needs
- Ability to travel up to 25% to 50% of the time
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to effectively establish and maintain relationships between installer and WD owners
- Results oriented with ability to focus on desired outcomes and a strong sense of urgency
- Aptitude for cold calling potential new business and ability to continually follow up on leads
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and drive resolution.

- Can work independently and within a team environment
- Excellent listening skills and ability to understand customer needs
