Work as part of a team of professional and technical staff in the laboratory to provide high quality, timely and accurate test results to clients.
About the roleThe purpose of the role is to work as part of a team of professional and technical staff in the laboratory to provide high quality, timely and accurate test results to clients. The Laboratory Technical Officer prepares and performs analysis of samples in accordance with standard operating procedures and instructions and performs the associated administrative, maintenance and equipment calibration activities as required.
Hours per fortnight73.50 hours per fortnight (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).
- A Certificate III or Certificate IV in laboratory operations or an equivalent level, relevant to the nature of the work to be undertaken, as provided by either a vocational education organisation or a registered and accredited training provider.
