Clean Harbors seeks an Environmental Field Technician to support environmental and industrial service projects. In this field-based role, you will collect samples, operate monitoring equipment, and assist with hazardous and non-hazardous waste handling, spill response, and site remediation. You'll complete accurate field documentation, follow strict safety and environmental compliance protocols, and work closely with supervisors and project teams. Responsibilities

  • Collect environmental samples (soil, water, air) at client sites following strict safety and quality protocols
  • Operate and maintain field and monitoring equipment and accurately document readings
  • Support hazardous and non-hazardous waste handling, packaging, labeling, and shipment preparation
  • Assist with site inspections, spill response, and remediation activities under supervisor direction
  • Complete field reports, chain-of-custody forms, and digital logs in a timely, accurate manner
  • Collaborate with project managers, drivers, and technicians to meet project schedules and client requirements
  • Follow Clean Harbors' safety-first procedures, PPE requirements, and environmental compliance standards
  • Participate in safety meetings, training, and drills to continuously improve field performance
